The shorebased courses complement the practical courses throughout the rya scheme. These range from a one day to a 6 day course and will extend your knowledge on specialist subjects such as the diesel, marine radio and radar courses.

Some courses will be required as a prerequisite for the hgher qualification such as the Yachtmaster certificate of competence
