The National Powerboat qualifications are for the those operators whose boats  are used for day use such as ribs, sports boat and dories and does not include those, whose vessels have overnight facillities.

The courses start from a one day course to a maximum of two days ending with the Advance course which ultimately takes the candidate through night and rough weather handling.
